OUR LEADERSHIP

MICHAEL LICHTENSTEIN

President

Michael Lichtenstein has been President of Heritage Equity Partners since its founding, and a zoning lawyer by training, with deep roots in the construction and development industries. For the past 20 years, Michael has been involved in over 5 million square feet of residential and commercial development, including residential multi family properties, as well as a range of commercial sites throughout New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Michael leads a fully integrated development and construction platform building contextualized urban infill in some of the most unique neighborhoods in the NYC outer boroughs. Mr. Lichtenstein, holds a JD from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law, in New York, and a BA in Political Science.

Mr. Lichtenstein was one of the first developers in Bedford Stuyvesant starting in 2000, During the following years, Michael was one of the pioneering developers in Williamsburg, as well as one of the first developers in Fishtown, Philadelphia during the years 2000 - 2008. Since launching Heritage Equity, Michael has been focused on the development and construction of the projects in Williamsburg, Long Island City and Bushwick.

TOBY MOSKOVITS

Chief Executive Officer

Toby Moskovits is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Equity Partners. Prior to founding Heritage, Ms. Moskovits served as managing director of private equity and venture capital investment at Cammeby's Capital Group, a family owned real estate company in NYC. Prior to that Toby was an analyst at Israel Seed Partners, an early stage venture capital fund based in Jerusalem.

Ms. Moskovits, who holds an MBA from Bar Ilan University, also serves on the National Advisory Board of Springboard Enterprises, a nonprofit supporting women's access to private equity opportunities. She is an active member of Community Board 1 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of the advisory council of St Nicks Alliance, supporting their efforts to create job opportunities for residents of North Brooklyn.
